We present a genome assembly from an individual male Strigamia acuminata (centipede; Arthropoda; Chilopoda; Geophilomorpha; Geophilidae; Linotaeniinae). The genome sequence is 237.5 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.07 kilobases in length.Citation
